This practical case shows a simple sales process in Odoo: creating a lead, registering the client, preparing a quote, validating the order, creating the invoice, and following up on payment.

The objective is to demonstrate my ability to configure and test a basic functional Odoo workflow for an SME or an Odoo agency.

From CRM to the registration of a new client.

Creating the lead in the CRM

Creating an opportunity in Odoo CRM with the main information of the lead: name, company, email, phone, and expressed need.

Organising the sales pipeline

Ranking the opportunity in the pipeline to track the progress of the lead: new contact, qualification, proposal, quote sent or won.

Qualifying the client’s need

Adding useful information to understand the client’s request and prepare a suitable proposal.

Creating the client record     

Creating or updating the contact record to convert the lead into a client in Odoo 

From creation to sending the quote.

Preparing the quote

Creation of a quote with products or services, quantities, prices, taxes, and any conditions.

Verification of the quote

Control of the quote information before validation: client details, product lines, amounts, and conditions.

Sending the quote to the client

Simulation or preparation of sending the quote to the client from Odoo.

Validation of the order

Transformation of the accepted quote into a client order to continue the business flow. 

From the creation of the invoice to its payment.

Text Creation of the invoice

Generation of the invoice from the client order, with verification of client information and amounts.

Validation of the invoice

Control and then validation of the invoice in Odoo to finalise the accounting document

Payment tracking

Verification of the invoice status: draft, sent, awaiting payment, or paid.

Testing the complete process

Verification of the complete flow from the CRM to the invoice to demonstrate the proper functioning of the business process.
